// ai engineering + gtm automation, one-person studio

I build the AI systems that book meetings while you sleep.

ZeroBusyWork Labs is run by Michael Parkin. Senior frontend engineer turned GTM automation builder. I ship agents, pipelines, and outreach systems that do the repetitive work so your team doesn't.

Outcomes, not deliverables.

outbound/

Outbound and lead-gen systems

Signal-triggered outreach that lands when the buyer is actually ready. Not another cold blast to a static list.

agents/

AI agents and workflow automation

Agents that read, decide, and act inside your stack. Enrichment, routing, CRM hygiene, follow-ups. The work nobody wants.

devrel/

Technical content and DevRel

Walkthroughs, docs, and demos that developers actually finish. I build the thing first, then show exactly how.

frontend/

Frontend and landing pages

Fast, conversion-focused pages in React or Svelte. Shipped in days, measured in signups.

Real systems, in production.

Every project follows the same shape: a problem, the system that solves it, and the number that proves it.

Signal-triggered outreach and lead-scoring pipeline

problem  SDRs blasting static lists. 1% reply rates, burned domains.

system   Clay + n8n watch hiring, funding, and tech-install signals. Claude drafts the first line. Smartlead sends it.

outcome  Running on my own pipeline. Reply rate and booked calls tracked in the open.

002

Buying-signal detector in Python

problem  High-intent accounts invisible in the noise of the open web.

system   Python service scrapes job posts and changelogs, classifies intent with Claude, writes scored signals into HubSpot.

outcome  Detecting buying signals daily. Conversion tracked as pipeline lands.

003

Job-AI-Auto-Apply

problem  Applying to jobs is itself a full-time job.

system   Browser-automation agent parses postings, tailors answers to each form, and applies. Human reviews a queue, not tabs.

outcome  Applications and interviews logged in public as they happen.

Engineer first. GTM second. In that order, on purpose.

I'm Michael Parkin. Five-plus years shipping frontend at scale in React, Next, and Svelte. Two years ago I started automating my own job search and outreach. The systems worked better than the manual version, so I kept building them. Now that's the whole job.

Most GTM tooling fails because it's built by marketers guessing at engineering, or engineers guessing at sales. I've done both sides in production. That's the edge.

// how-i-work

01 Scope tight. One system, one measurable outcome.

02 Ship in weeks, not quarters. Working system over slide deck.

03 Hand over docs, Looms, and runbooks. You own it after me.

// signals

5+ years senior frontend, production scale

Outreach and automation systems built, running, documented in public

Every build shipped on YouTube and the blog
